Campus maps, housing, cafeteria food, restaurants, local hotels, we've amassed some practical information over the years. It's all collected here for your convenience.

We are very grateful to Mike Capps, our Housing Wrangler, for taking on the many unseen tasks our housing projects require.

CAMPUS MAPS

Getting around on-campus:

The Conference can provide opportunities for exercise. We suggest that you expect some walking time to and from your car, especially if you are unfamiliar with the campus.

It is easy to get lost on ANY university campus with which one is unfamiliar. Stopping any bystander and asking for directional assistance is encouraged.

CAMPUS CAFETERIA

Located off the main foyer of the Haggar University Center, the University cafeteria provides all-you-can-eat dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cafeteria accepts credit cards.

Please note that their hours of operation are limited; sneaking out of a session to grab a snack will likely result in disappointment.

ON-CAMPUS HOUSING

Keys. Key management is always an important challenge for on-site lodging at the Conference. Unlike most hotels, the University provides traditional keys that fit into traditional locks. Due to the cost of changing the locks, a $75 replacement fee is charged by the University for any key not returned at the end of the Conference.

Things to bring. It is suggested that you bring the following, in addition to your personal accessories:

  • a set of standard twin-size bed linen (linen is provided but may not compare to what is experienced in most hotels)
  • towels and washcloths
  • alarm clock

More details that will make your stay happy are forthcoming.
